PRIVACY POLICY

Tab Unloader Browser Extension

Last updated: October 8, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Tab Unloader ("the Extension"), developed by Alchymia (ANDRADA SOLUÇÕES LTDA), handles user data and privacy.

We believe in complete data privacy. Tab Unloader does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or browsing information.

2. Data Collection and Usage

Tab Unloader operates entirely locally on your device within your web browser.

  • Personal Data: We do not collect names, email addresses, IP addresses, or any personally identifiable information.
  • Browsing Data: We do not track, collect, record, or transmit browsing history, URLs, tab content, or user behavior.
  • Analytics & Telemetry: No analytics tools, tracking pixels, or third-party monitoring scripts are embedded in the Extension.

3. Browser Permissions

Tab Unloader requests only the minimum permissions necessary to perform its memory-saving functions:

  • tabs permission: Used strictly to inspect tab states (such as active status, title, favicon, and URL) locally in order to display tab lists in the popup interface and to execute memory discard operations using native browser APIs (chrome.tabs.discard).
  • contextMenus permission: Used solely to register right-click menu commands allowing users to trigger tab unloading directly from the browser context menu.

All permission-related operations occur exclusively within your local browser runtime.

4. Third-Party Services

Tab Unloader does not transmit data to external servers or third-party services. There are no advertising networks, external trackers, or third-party dependencies integrated into the extension.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in extension features or regulatory requirements. Any updates will be posted directly on this page.
